Value for money. Well placed close-by Galata and not far from the Sultan palace and all the ferry boats. The room was comfortable clean and well equiped. The hotel itself is small but nice and well maintained. Breakfast is ok, it maybe be better with little but is fair and the terrace where it is served is really nice

It is a very nice butique hotel just few minutes walking distance to/from GalataTower. Area full with coffee shops and small restaurants. The area was very save and vibrant all day. Hotel is really nice, clean, and well equipped. We liked it very much. We had a bigger room 26/27 m2 with a view. The room is spacious enough for 2 people. Breakfast at the hotel was quite fine and enough to start you day with. The staff is super friendly, welcoming and willing to help. Thank you so much Fatih. It was very nice meeting you!! We can recommend this hotel and will stay here again in the future!

We had a great stay at The Gift. The rooms are exactly as pictured on Expedia, the staff were super friendly, the breakfast offered was good. The area itself is very nice, close to the ferries that can take you to many varied districts in Istanbul. We were there for six days and had a wonderful time.

Excellent warm hospitality. The rooms are compact but modern and chic. My only complaint was the sound isolation between rooms and corridors. Breakfast is very good overlooking a seeworthy view across the golden horn. Hotel is located on a slightly steep road in case you walk there with luggage otherwise the metro is quite close.

Absolutely wonderful boutique hotel nestled right on the edge of Beyoglu. Everyone on staff present was respectful and polite. The property was well maintained and incredibly charming. One thing to keep in mind is they tend not to answer the phone, so if you book through Expedia the airport transfer may be difficult to schedule preemptively.

Really nice hotel and great service and staff. Only problem was our room on the first floor was extremely loud at night as it’s facing the street. Was a pity as everything else was really great and we enjoyed everything else.

Great experience! We had a great time and felt we had the best room in the hotel with our panoramic views from our balcony and everything! The staff from reception to breakfast team to everyone else were super hospitable and we would like to thank them. The rooms are really a lot better than the pictures and they have double insulated windows and when you close them you hear nothing from the street, plus you can have blackout shades if you like to use them. Definitely recommend!

A perfect hotel in every way!!! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean, tidy and everything is thought out. The terrace overlooks the sea and is always open. The breakfast is very delicious and fresh. The location is central, 5 minutes walking distance to Galata Tower and 8 minutes walking distance to Istiklal Street. It was the most comfortable, fun and safe hotel experience of my life. I would like to thank everyone who contributed. I definitely recommend it!

This hotel was an amazing find and would definitely stay again! It’s in a convenient area for shopping, tourist attractions, ferries/metro, and walking around to explore. It’s on a main road but the room was so quiet and had a great view of the water. The staff were so sweet and helpful, offered to call us taxis whenever they saw us heading out for the day, helped us find the nearest metro and gave suggestions of things to do. Also helped us send out our laundry as we’d been traveling for awhile and it was very affordable. Big breakfast spread in a rooftop cafe with beautiful views. The room was super clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Also the hotel is just beautiful design-wise; tons of cool art on the walls and tasteful decor.

The hotel location is good, very close to the metro station, 10 min walking to galata tower. walking area around is not very difficult. the rooms are too small, and the AC was not really cold even it was at 18 all day. the breakfast is included but has no variety.

Wonderful hotel.

Absolutely loved staying at The Gift Hotel. Perfect location close to Istiklal Caddesi, Galata Tower and Shishane Metro Station. The rooms are extremely clean, very well decorated everything was brand new, beautiful bathroom, excellent shower pressure. We had a doble room which isn't very spacious but worked perfectly for us. My mother was recovering from surgery and the stuff were extremely helpful. They helped us booking a tour for us, getting food delivered etc There is not restaurante but the buffet breakfast was espectacular. The front desk receptionist was a huge help, assisting me with everything that I needed. One of best thing is the Hotel is Smoke free. Not a single bad smell I noticed on my stay. I'm definitely staying again in this perfect hotel.

The hotel is very small and old. The first room that we settled wasn’t good at all. It was small, dark, humid, no air, no window and overpriced. The location was right on the street and taxi couldn’t park there because there wasn’t any parking spot. The walking path around the hotel was terrible. It had broken stones and unsafe. The staff was nice. The breakfast didn’t have much choice.

It was overall a good stay. No big complains. The hotel's staff was indeed friendly and helpful. Loved the location and easy access to Metro and buses, plus close to historic Galata tower and Taksim area. The room we stayed was "standard room" and I think it's not spacious enough for two people and even can say it was small, however could be enough for single person reservations. The breakfast wasn't as special as people said in other comments or rated on the websites, but certainly was high quality but could improve with more variety and inclusion of fresh breads and sweets. The staff in charge of breakfast salon could be more professional but no big concern there. Overall, it certainly worths to stay and recommend it.

My husband and I stayed for 15 days (September 2024) at this hotel and we liked it a lot. I selected a room with bay window for an additional fee and was very happy. T tis hotel is conveniently located within 10 minutes walk of the famous Istiklal Caddesi (Independence street) where lots of good shops are located. The area is safe even late at night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The manager Gokhan Ozcetinkaya greeted us on arrival as we got out of the car. I also met the owner of the hotel and had a nice chat with him. The building has been fully renovated a year and a half ago, and is earthquake proof and offers all amenities. The shower is amazing. The breakfast is served daily from 8:30 am to 11 am and I found it to be healthy and delicious. It is served on the 6th floor which has a very nice view of Halic. I recommend this hotel to any traveler to Istanbul who does not want to spend a lot of money but who wants quality and convenience, especially for first time travelers.

What an amazing experience! Boutique Hotel steps from Galata Tower, central to everything. I’ll try to be detailed but brief. And for reference when deciding if you would pick this place, I will give you a reference point. Mentally Im Ritz Carlton (lol), financially Hilton Garden Inn (ok, moving on) So overall, yes, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. (and yes- this was our first time to Istanbul) Gift Hotel Centrally located-Euro side Staff: Outstanding, friendly, helpful (small treats everyday at checkin) Breakfast daily 8-10am: Delish + sufficient. We felt full everyday. Fresh everything! Room: tidy, clean, plenty of room for us two Bed comfort: ok, a bed topper would help Pillows: clean, comfortable (I need a good pillow) Bathroom: not huge-but shower was a nice size, water pressure-amazing, got hot fast, clean and cute. No bad water smells and wasnt afraid to brush my teeth with it. Towels: Big, clean, a little worn, non issue. Wifi: good+pretty fast Wet bar with cokes, water bottles, coffee + quality teas. Quiet streets, AC cold at 23°c with the fan on max, then would raise to 24 for comfort. They handled our private airport transfers for 90euro (total) roundtrip Metro 5 min walk (but we always walked 10 min to Karakoy by the water to get to Asian side), Galata Tower few minute walk (5min). We really didnt need a GPS bc the tower is your landmark, once you orient yourself its super easy to get around. I definately reccommend the Gift Hotel!
