"Room was old, reeked of smoke! Sheets were torn, stained and had holes in them. No covering of bathroom window so large light shined in all night and also someone could just stand there and see in bathroom or full room if door was open. The place was not worth $20 a night, let alone what they charged. I immediately cancelled my second night and would recommend anywhere but here. There is vintage and old but this was rundown and a dump. No other way to say it. I asked for a receipt and it...

"Floor buckling, sour mold smell, bug bites leaving huge whelps on my arms the size of golf balls, bed head board pulled half way out of wall mount, lights on head board stayed on with no way to turn them off ( I had to cover them with clothing to sleep) stove in kitchen didn’t work, tv remote missing, tv didn’t work, room phone sitting in desk but no cord and not plugged in, was not allowed an early check in, dirty linens where in front of my room from previous guest for 48 hours. "

"Clean to these people here is not what clean looks like to most eyes. I’ve never been at a stay that has so many stains on bed sheets, carpets, bathroom curtains all in 1 stay. Literally had to ask for another room and the other room was almost the same. At least have brand new bed sheets and throw out old ones with big stains on them. I was not too happy and had to settle with what I got. If I could’ve gotten a refund I would’ve went right away to another place and payed extra. "

"I ended up leaving before the end of the night. there were holes in the wall. it reaked of smoke and bodily fluids. there were prostitutes walking up and down the parking lot offering services to me (and my wife). our uber driver told us we should leave it is unsafe. the worker would only talk to me from outside. i cancelled my entire evening plans and went home.... to unsafe and it made us miserable. "The $5 shuttle, per person, was very useful to get to the Welcome Center in Old Town. Rooms are simple yet clean. Our second time and would go back again. Choice has just bought the property so it is looking more commercial than it did with private owners."
