"There was a personal touch to the experience and the folk music in the background with real artist playing it brought in a very calm and peaceful stay overlooking Lake Pichola gave the most luxurious experience"

"Excellent, beautiful property , nicely run by the best people in town and close by main attractions . Highly recommended !! Service, food and general condition are unbeatable "

"This was my first time travelling to India, and being alone, I was excited but also initially a little apprehensive. The team at Kintsugi took any initial nerves away the moment I stepped foot through the door. This heritage property is an oasis of calm outside of the bustling town that is Udaipur. Within walking distance of the City Palace and lake, whilst also being far enough away that it feels like a calm retreat when needed. The staff made me feel like royalty. The breakfast and omelettes...

"We enjoyed our stay. This hotel is in the hustle and bustle of the old town. The staff and manager couldn’t be more helpful. The Aircon was good in the bedroom. The roof top restaurant was nice and food was excellent. The building had charm and character. It had been beautifully restored and the furniture was in keeping with its heritage. You need to accept that it’s an old building and isn’t sound proof. If you are a light sleeper you will be woken up by horns and dogs barking. That’s part of...

"Property is poorly maintained and the pictures are really misleading. “Pool” was more like an algae pond, ACs didn’t work across all rooms, hot water wasn’t working."

"Oberoi Udaivilas is an outstanding resort in an extraordinary setting on the shores of Lake Pichola. The magnificent architecture, beautifully maintained grounds and attention to detail create a truly luxurious experience, combining elegance, tranquillity and exceptional hospitality. The staff were a real highlight, consistently warm, attentive and professional. Special thanks to Vikas, the chef, for his contribution to our dining experience; Riddesh and Rohit in the restaurant for their...

"Beautfully restored heritage haveli in a quiet part of town. Lovely courtyard, and excellent rooftop restaurant. Clean, comfortable room, a little oasis of cool and quiet after being in town. Lovely helpful staff, and a very good laundry service."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, the location is perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived until we checked out. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing experience."

"A very enjoyable stay at the Smiling Sparrows Villa. The charming villa is nestled in the middle of the old city and can only be accessed either by rickshaw or on foot. The rickshaw drive to-from the villa was one of my favourite parts of the trip! It is perfect for small groups. There are two double rooms and extra beds if needed. The freshly cooked breakfasts from Bhagwati were lovely and he was very accommodating with our requests. I enjoyed the selection of books left by the owners. The...

"Enjoyed my stay"

"Hôtel haut de gamme avec de belles chambres. Très belle architecture avec 2 piscines. Très vaste roof top avec un bar et un bon restaurant. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Très bon emplacement à 15 mn à pied du City Palace et vue sur le lac"

"View from the room was best i could ever get. Room was clean. Staff was friendly, gone beyond to fulfill the needs of the guests. Hotel is on a great great location. Just a minute away from lake pichola. You could see the lake, the ghat, the pichola market from your balcony. The size of the room was also pretty big. Overall 11/10. "

"Hands down the best hotel I have stayed at anywhere in the world, and I've travelled a decent bit. The hotel is amazing, like something out of a fairy tale. Every thing is exquisite. The hospitality is out of this world; lovely staff all around, who go out of their way to make everything as convenient as possible, with the lightest touch. Definitely coming back."

"best location, everything is so near to the hotel."
