"We enjoyed our night here. The lobby is inviting and the reception staff is very friendly. The building looks recently renovated as do the rooms. Free parking in the garage is huge in LA. And the location is close to the freeway and not far from cool neighborhoods like Echo Park and Los Feliz. I would stay here again!"

"We booked the Silver Lake Pool and Inn for a one-night stay to celebrate a birthday. Four of us stayed in the the queen double room and we all absolutely loved it! The view of the hills and the neighborhood were gorgeous. We loved the furniture and design (it felt like a hip and groovy house) and the beds were comfy. We asked for a quiet room and were accommodated, no noise issues to report! Reesee and Perla checked us in, and they were sweet and very helpful and thoughtful. The valet service...

I’d say the only downsides for me is that there’s too many locks throughout the property (a total of 4 to go through before you can enter your room - 1 at the main entrance, 2 to enter the building and 1 to enter the room) and since there’s no on-site staff you have to message them on Expedia and wait for a response and they can be a little slow). "I live in Big Bear Lake, 2 1/2 hr. drive down the mountain. I travel to Koreatown every 2 months to stock up on Korean food. I've stayed at $126/night motels. I decided to give Koxie Hotel a try. It was $20 more, not including parking $15 more. For $146/night, I expected well maintained room. The dry wall around the room needed restoring. I stayed on the 5th floor. Enjoyed the view. If I revisit, I won't pay $15 for parking. Instead, park on the street."
