"The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!"

"Rooms were good, nice pool and beautiful view. We ate in the restaurant 4 times and the food was okay but you almost had to beg for a second glass of wine , never was it offered or were you asked if you want more. I think wine should be plentiful in D’ouro valley!"

"Book tours and tastings at La Rosa as soon as you book your room as they sell out. If traveling from Pinhao, I recommend arranging a car before you travel. There is a single uber/bolt driver and he lives outside the area so waits are long. There are many alternative private transfers that you can book but you won’t want to be walking your bags.
