Hotel The Grang Seogwipo

"If you like or need a firm mattress, this is your hotel! I thought the bed was amazing, pillows too. However, the carpet in the hallway and the walls needed some maintenance. Carpet was stained in the halls and the room walls needed to be painted for scuff marks and water stains. Bathroom and room itself were clean. The hotel does not get many reservations through Expedia and the front desk could not pull up our reservation easily. Took about 10 minutes, but all was well in the end. Good location for walking around and getting to the water front and falls."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Josun. From the moment we pulled up our car, someone greeted us and help us bring in our luggage. For the money that we paid, we expected the room to be newer/nicer. Room needed a refresh - wall had tape on it to seal up possible marks or cracks, paint was peeling off and areas were yellow. We enjoyed the dinner buffet - large variety of food and all delicious. The live music/singer in the lounge was beautiful to listen to as you walk the halls or sit in the lounge to enjoy a meal or drinks. The outdoor area was gorgeous-nice pool and cabana surrounded by palm trees. It was convenient to have washer/dryers in the main area that all guests could use for free. This hotel was centrally located near many restaurants and local sites."

"Amazing views of the city, the room was modern with top of the line amenities. There was an ample amount of activities to choose from: restaurant choices, spa/relaxing options, shopping, and remarkable rooftop pool. Every single one of the staff members I encountered, from the hotel receptionist, Heidi, to the entire restaurant staff were incredibly kind and hospitable. I can’t wait to visit again, and I will definitely be staying at the Grand Hyatt!"

"My stay here was an experience I shall never forget. I was by myself in my travels. So, I didn't quite get what I was expecting. I found that this hotel to be a romantic retreat for lovers or a family oriented atmosphere. However, the staff in the concierge were so kind and helpful and fun to be around. I felt like they were my children looking after me. I am unable to describe how wonderful they were especially Judy I just loved her. Her smile, always checking on how my day was going how my bike ride was, if I ate good. There was a restaurant on the main floor which I ate everyday at and all the staff were just as great. Your service from your staff was the best I have encountered and I have traveled the world. Thank you to all of them"

"Stayed here four nights. Great location just outside the city. The room was very clean and it was very easy to drive in the southern area. Has free parking and nearby restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very helpful to also have free laundry room service. There are two washers and two driers. Game room for kids. Pool and outdoor jacuzzi amenity was great. Had jacuzzi in room too which was nice."

"Booked the terrace room and liked the view and space. Cleaning ladies kept the room tidy. Parking is easy and free. A minor feedback is that the front office can learn to be more smiley and greet guests. "

"The Shilla Jeju is a truly excellent hotel, but what impressed me most wasn’t the design or the facilities it was the staff. Every single team member was outstanding. Polite, attentive, and genuinely warm in a way that went well beyond what I’d expect. I travel often to Europe and the US and have stayed at many hotels along the way, but honestly the service here was better than anything I’ve experienced at hotels in either region. The management really should look after these people they absolutely deserve a raise. Hotels like this are only as good as the team running them, and Shilla Jeju has clearly got something special. Would happily return."
