Seyithan Palace Spa Hotel

"I booked my stay from May 26–June 1. In February 2026, I emailed Seyithan Palace Hotel requesting a booking change to May 27 (my actual arrival date), but never received a response or refund for the unused night. Upon arrival, I was given my requested top-floor, non-smoking room, but the TV did not work. I was moved to another room, where there was a strong sewer/mold odor coming from the washroom. Reception did arrange to have this fixed the next day. Housekeeping service was inconsistent. I requested clean towels from staff but never received them. Later, I had to visit reception for towels, toilet paper, garbage service, and room cleaning, only to learn I needed a “Clean My Room” sign, which had not been provided. There was also a building power outage early one morning, and the Wi-Fi was poor throughout my stay, often disconnecting and only working in parts of the room. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the advertised swimming pool, but upon check-in, I was told there was no pool, which was very disappointing. This review reflects my honest experience. While some issues were addressed, the communication, room concerns, unreliable Wi-Fi, and missing amenities made my stay disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not book with Seyithan Palace Hotel again."

The entire reception team was amazing, but we want to give a special mention to Eyup. His service was absolutely phenomenal, and he went completely above and beyond for us. By the end of our stay, the whole team felt like family, and they made us feel like a part of theirs. We stayed in a top-floor air conditioned apartment with very good accommodation and incredibly comfortable beds. The rooms were reasonably clean for the local standard, though the hotel itself felt a little undermaintained in places. If you want a comfortable stay with world-class hospitality, this is the place. We would love to return in a heartbeat just to see our new family again!"

"Istanbul Gonen hotel is at a very convenient Location for a visitor. Starcity outlet Mall with a food court is across the road. Underground Metro station is 15 minutes walking away. File grocery is 5 minutes walking distance. Mall of Istanbul is 6 stations away from Metro. M9 train. Takes 15 minutes. DOGU Sanayi is the Metro station closet to the Istanbul Gonen hotel. I went from New York to Gonen hotel. I did not have any problem staying there. Safe and clean hotel. My advice for non turkish speaking. DO NOT TAKE YELLO TAXI. Take Metro trains. Safer and least expensive. Starcity outlet Mall food court is the best. Avoid outside restaurants. They see tourists they raise their prices 3 times. I would definitely recommend Istanbul Gonen hotel ."

"Room was supposed to be the King Suit. But didn’t look like photos. The bed was not a king size bed. The workmen’ship of the remodel of hotel was very poor. The elevator is the size of a closet that barely fits 2 people and only goes to the 4th floor and had to take the stairs up to the 5th floor. The taxi driver had a hard time finding the hotel because the sign and entrance is off the side street and you have to walk down basically to basement level to enter the lobby. The area seems to be more locals than a tourist area. I would not recommend staying here. Also the hand held shower was broken and wouldn’t stay on holder."
