"Roon was clean but building a little old. The location was okay, good restaurants around with a good uphill 5-10 mins walk. Breakfast buffee menu was good variety and special like on the expresso machine but need extra charge if you want omlette eggs which is not part of the buffee menu. Parking was extra charge on the side if you are doing car rental."

"This hotel is quite lovely in pretty much every way. The lift has been tastefully modified yet keeps its look to go with the history. Absolutely loved to be able to sit out in the open air whether it be for a coffee or single malt scotch."

"We have stayed at this hotel many many times before and find the beds very comfortable and generally the rooms are decent. This time the room was in dire need of an upgrade. It did appear clean but there was a lot of mould in the grout and on the tiles. We also had 2 cars with us and they wanted to charge us $22 for the first car park and $37 for the second. The carpark was half empty. The pool has lots of mould in the tiles and there was a couple of broken ones laying around. We normally find...

"Once again had a great stay at The Westin Brisbane. The pool area is the best in Brisbane and you can't beat the location. Huge shoutout to Faye at the front desk, she is incredibly friendly, very helpful and made check-in a breeze. Staff like her make all the difference! Highly recommend for a relaxing city getaway. "The mirror inside my pod fell off the wall and hit me on my back at 3am in the morning due to the guy above me constantly moving around. The manager was informed and did nothing but offered me a free coffee. The mixed dorm was terrible, bad smelling socks and shoes lying everywhere. I requested a move and the ladies dorm was a lot better and more tidy. At night, it was noisy from the door and people going in and out. "Great location with a short walk, train, or Uber to wherever you need to go. Suite was well-appointed with all required kitchen items …lower lighted lamps appreciated as many places have poor bright lighting with no dimmer switches. Washer/dryer was great to have (came home with a full suitcase of clean clothes) Rooftop pool was very nice with good sun access. Front desk staff were great. Would definitely stay here again. "
