"There was a small blood stain on the comforter of one of the beds, so it obviously had not been changed from the last guest. Will not stay there again. There really were no amenities to speak of but it was close to Golden 1 center so that was a positive. For the huge price it was not worth it."

Although Tesla Superchargers were not in the adjacent Holiday Inn garage, they were right next door and accessible from the garage next to Holiday Inn's closest garage. That worked out well. "The room was clean but not 5 star clean. There was dust on the desk and one of the shower bottles had the adhesive fail all on its own. Keep in mind thus is a historic hotel....so pretty and cool, but there is no pool which is a little sad for a hotel in Sacramento."

"The building is incredible, and a great place to stay in the city - quiet, comfortable, and very close to everything downtown. Staff were warm and friendly, the facilities were very clean, the bed was comfortable. They have a deal worked out with a lovely cafe a couple blocks away so you can get a discount on meals and drinks there. The only walkable groceries are convenience stores/bodegas, but I expected that in a city. Would highly recommend, and I'll be back anytime I need to come through...

"THE HOMELESS/UNHOUSED POPULATION right outside the hotel was a huge takeaway from our Sacramento experience. The hotel itself was nice but it’s very congested with suspicious activity from the Arco next door. There was definitely a couple of people driving under the influence and people asking for money if you walked through the Arco. One night they had a bonfire on the sidewalk! I would never recommend this location to anyone. Nothing happened to our car or belongings, the hotel itself is clean...
