"Excellent location, clean and stylish decor, not too pretentious, well maintained. very helpful and kind staff, wonderful breakfast. Amazing coffee! My favorite part is that is just in front of Parque El Retiro. It’s a very safe area right in the heart of the city. Short walks to Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza Cibeles, Serrano, Goya, Recoletos, all areas where all great restaurants and nice boutiques are. I’ve stayed at Petite Palace Savoy Alfonso XII 3 times and it never gets old!"

Registering was online, with glitches in the process. Basement room, smelled like a basement, damp, leaky shower. Poor signage, and hard to find at night. No refund on cancellation. Only redeeming things were, good location, and quiet, otherwise avoid ."
