There was no heat and the hotel did not provide blankets. The wall had holes and stains on it. Do not stay here! Also, it was noisy all night, as there were people loitering outside throughout the night.

The hair dryer did not work in our room and they did not replace it when I told them. Parking was good. Rug in the room very worn and dirty. Staff were helpful and there was housekeeping every day if you wanted it.

Upon walking into the room, it does smell and appear to be very clean. I did book a smoking room online and upon check-in was told that it was not a smoking room and that I had to smoke outside and then upon leaving my stay, I found a crack spoon, and crack pipe in my room on top of the wardrobe. upon bringing this up with Management they had no care or concern that this was going on and that their housekeeping was not taking care of it. so with that said the bed was clean and the bathroom was clean so if you’re looking for a place where you just want to use the bed and the bathroom then yeah you can go here. The room also has a lot of signs of smoking as well. I enjoyed my time with my gf though.

There was lots of weird noises at night. The room’s floor was so dirty. We could not find iron. I also did not like the front desk man behavior. She was watching video on his phone and completely ignored me while I was knocking on the front glass to call him for checkout.

I don’t know what twists and turns life has thrown you to check the reviews for the Jersey City Rodeway Inn, but here you are. It’s gonna be okay. It’s just one night. I personally did not feel comfortable disrobing within the confines of this facility, but you might be a little freakier than me. Was the bed comfortable? Of course not. Did the room smell like cigarettes? Yup. Did it make my tour manager think of her grandma? Also yes! The front desk staff seemed kind. None of this is their fault. Don’t check for stains. You know they’re there. Tomorrow will be better.

People expecting champagne but have money for beer; this place is pretty bare-bones for what I need: a place to sleep and somewhere that feels safe. No breakfast, but there's a Dunkin' within walking distance, and the room was enough for me to stay for 5 nights. If you're planning to stay this long, make sure to stop by somewhere to pick up a few things as staples (like water or food). Parking was pretty plentiful; I had no issues grabbing a spot for the night. The staff was pretty friendly, and I wasn't expecting turnover service every day, which was nice but not necessary for my own trip. The room itself was remodelled a bit; floors were vinyl hardwood, and the bathrooms were updated to look more modern, so don't let the exterior fool you. Lastly, the only issue I had was the location; you're going on a one-way road, mostly because you're on a turnpike/highway, so it's pretty annoying to have to sit in traffic for 20 minutes to make a U-turn, but this is outside the hotel's control.
