"The Pelican Key Largo Cottages are an absolute gem, we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and wished it had been longer. The staff were super friendly and communication was efficient and effective, parking is on site and right by the accommodation. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, the real stand out is the location right by a private beach and 3 docks with amazing views of the gulf and wonderful sunsets. Plenty of shade, lots of loungers and chairs to relax in made this a very relaxing and fun stay, thank you. We would highly recommend and definitely return to stay again. "

"The name of this place should be Baker’s Cay FAMILY resort. While I totally understand this was not an adults only property, there were screaming kids everywhere. The biggest issue is no soundproofing in the rooms. We were woken in the middle of the night every night and early mornings by a crying baby. We told the front desk after the second night and they said they called our neighbors (why?) and said they didn’t have kids in their room, so make that make sense. They offered a credit- that helped marginally, but is pennies on the dollar compared to what we paid to be there. We checked in on a Wednesday and it was fairly quiet, but that changed the next day. Breakfast on Friday morning was insanity, the furthest thing from peaceful. We found some recluse from kids by the adults only pool (thank god for that), but the pump for the waterfall is so loud you can barely have a conversation. The beaches and water are beautiful, the property is well kept and staff are friendly enough. Areas do get closed off for weddings frequently, so that was frustrating. All food and drink comes with a 20% gratuity added on to make it “convenient for you”. Food and drink are priced like they should be absolutely top notch quality, but I’m sad to say it just wasn’t. The cost of eating and drinking here is absolutely staggering and nothing we had was amazing, justifying the cost. Skip this place and spend more time in Key West. We’ll never recommend this place to anyone and will never be back."

"This little gem was paradise. It might not be the biggest resort around but it had everything you needed. The waterfront area had ample lounges and adirondack deck chairs to allow you to take in the beauty of Buttonwood sound. The rooms are equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, and Keurig machines.. The office has a wonderful coffee maker that grinds and brews your coffee. I have the best cappuccinos every morning. We took advantage of the complementary bicycles and paddle boards. It was our first time in Key largo but the next time, we need a place to relax, this is definitely the place."

"Beautiful hotel - lot of amenities for both kids and adults. My only complaint was the server / bartender in the beach bar. Food came out quick but was cold. My son wanted a side of ranch with his tenders and I was dine with my fish tacos before we got either our drinks or the ranch. The server said the bartender was solo and that was the issue but while I was standing at the bar waiting to ask about our drinks he walked over to a group who just sat at the bar, while I was waiting to ask, and served them. Other than that NO complaints at all"

"Fine but not special. Room was overall clean, except for small stains on the sheets and a very strong deodorizer smell in the carpet. Pool was nice but small and cluttered around it. Air conditioning was wonderful! Staff had a call on speakerphone the entire check in time. To be fair the manager did try to call me 2 days later, but by then I didn't care to move rooms."

"There were multiple dead bees in front of the AC. Then, 5 or 6 dead bees in the tub, which wasn't clean. Then many, over 50 in the window outside the tub. The upholstered chair had visible stains. I slept in a sleeping bag on the bed. "

"Nice little resort. Had amazing sunset view. Room was decent and clean. The grounds are very cool, lots of neat bonsais. Enjoyed our short stay here."
