"This stay will not offer you high end frills, as it is an older building and its location is at the start of the Keys, or much of the Florida Keys view that most people imagine. BUT the staff was excellent and accommodating, they keep the place clean, and have great recommendations when you need more than the onsite activities. I went to the Keys needing a value stay and that's what Anchorage Resort has. "

"Super nice staff with a great small resort. Definitely would stay here again! Rooms were spacious and amenities on site were great. Heated pool close to the ocean. The only thing it’s missing is a good sandy beach. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for us to go snorkeling or enjoy all the available water toys."

"We had a poor visit at the property. There is no one onsite to help with checking in and they assigned us the incorrect room. In the morning, there was no water to our room. They did not get the water turned back on during our stay and did not offer any refund. We would not recommend staying here. The lack of staff on the property made it difficult and they did not address issues in a timely manner. Definitely not worth it for the price. "

"Very clean property with comfortable beds, new flat screen TV. The daily breakfast had many choices. There was plenty of food that the wonderful staff kept full. I liked the coffee choices as well as the array of conditions. The private beach was well kept with plenty of lounge chairs to accommodate many guests. "The beach was the only nice thing about the property. Our cinder block room was so tiny we couldn’t even open up our suitcase unless we put it on top of the bed— there was literally less than 12” on each side of the bed. The noise was so loud from the highway that we needed to keep the a/c fan running all night to try to drown out some of the noise. "Staff was rude, room was gross and needed maintenance bad. My door was being held together by painters tape. My bed was broke on one side so you could only sit on the left and lay on the left side. Other then those things, it was close to everything, it was quiet, the bar attached was ok and had a nice owner who stayed open later then advertised and let us do karaoke. "

"beach is nice. has sand which not all do. well kept. rooms nice. mine was on the beach, slight upcharge but worth it. breakfast is simple but good. 4 kinds of fresh muffins cooked on site and 2 kinds of egg frittatas. I recommend this hotel. "

"First time staying at Sunset Cove and we had such a great time! We got an ocean view room and the experience was phenomenal. The room was very clean, staff friendly, BBQs available and they provided all grill tools, laundry facilities, and access to kayaks and paddle boards. We will definitely be returning! "

"Overall a very nice resort. We had stayed at an Autograph Collection property before in Kuaui and loved it. While this property was nice, it wasn’t really comparable. The refrigerator in our room didn’t work (staff did resolve that issue quickly). The USB plugs on one end table were broken and unusable. There was only one hook for towels in the bathroom so we were constantly having to move them around. While nice, I don’t think it was worth the cost and won’t stay again. "
