"Barlovento is a gem near Tayrona. One almost doesn’t need to leave the property to get the real jungle beach experience. However, it is a perfect home base for your adventure. The accommodations are very comfortable and quiet. Just watch out for the “no see ums” insects that get through the mosquito nets in the cabana, but this is true everywhere.
