"We can’t say enough good things about our stay. Our room was beyond what we expected. And it was spotless! Everyone was so friendly & warm. I asked for extra coffee for the following morning & it was promptly brought to me. "There were ants in my room and never saw housekeeping to mention it or get help. I was never given wifi info The spa refused me my anemities and guest services/spa manager never got back up with me to get a resolution (this was a problem going back to check in). The location was fantastic! I love that Jefferson lived there and it was centrally located! One of the smallest bathrooms in a colonial house. They do use a lot of bleach. "Staff cordial and friendly. Bed was very good. You can tell when a lot of improvements were made to the room. One charming feature was the closet was located under the TV and you had to bend down to use it Three drawbacks: Pillows were terrible very big and hard. After the 4th night I got a crook in the neck Also, the toilet was too low and the shower drain was not lower so the used water did not drain off quickly."

"Opening the door to our room, a heavy perfume hit us. As someone who has allergies, this wasn't a great start. The ac was on very cold and hard to regulate along the terrible noise it made. We shut it off. The sheets were white and seemed clean, the pillowcases were NOT white and were stained. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. I don’t know about the other rooms, if it was just ours but we won’t be staying again."
