"The room was very clean and big! It was very close to where we wanted to go- the Oscoda Beach Park and the Oscoda Canoe Rental. They were 5 minutes away. Amenities were good and we would definitely stay here again."
"There isn't an elevator if you stay on an upper floor. The hotel is in walking distance to the main shopping/dining area. Your room doesn't have a coffee maker but, they have coffee and tea by the main desk all day and evening. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. I'd stay lakeside. Nice view of Lake Huron."
"Pet friendly was a plus. We brought our mini dachshund with us. 3 adults in a 2 queen bed room. Only 2 towels. We were staying 2 nights. When I asked for more the front desk gentleman seemed put out. He said they didnt have any and we are only allowed 1 towel per person. Which is fine, but then a room meant for 4 people still only had 2 towels. So we were still short a towel. He gave me an extra towel but stated he only had bleached ones. Again fine by me. It gets the job done. We just didnt want to share one towel for 2 people. The pool and hottub were ok. They didn't look very clean but we were able to use them both and other guests all seemed happy and polite. Noise level was minimal from the hall or guest passing by. The AC unit was kicking the cold air out but it would rattle so bad it was making horrible sounds. That woke us up through out the night. Bathroom vent fan didnt work, so a 10minute shower left the counter, mirror and floor drenched. Breakfast was not great, but they provided something. So while not be my cup of tea they do have bagels, packaged rice crispy treats and packaged honey buns. Coffee as well. That was it.
Location is perfect! It was overall a good stay. Quiet environment."
"Rooms clean, double bed rooms have kitchen with stove all pots and pans, plates and silverware. Great place to camp, but with AC and a bed. Beautiful beach, fire pit with wood provided, kayaks available to use. Play structure for the kids and corn hole. I will definitely stay there again when in Tawas."
