"Some rules would be useful to prevent people leaving the spa and entering the hotel lobby/bar and restaurant either without shirts, just an open bathrobe etc. Also with all of the meeting rooms there is no reason for management to hold meetings in the hotel lobby. Some of us are happy to forget all about work when on holiday."

"Room temperature was quite warm and there was no air con. Bed was uncomfortable. Could hear people’s conversations due to shallow walls/doors and on the last night heard an infant crying throughout the night. No room extras except for basic washing and coffee/ tea making facilities. Pub food was a little basic, although attempts were made to adapt to my wishes. Draughty beer was good. Breakfast was DIY which was easy to navigate. Didn’t use the pool due to lots of infants and parents using...

"Room quiet,comfortable and clean. Car parking easy. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast a little disappointing ( my fault for not checking when I booked) “grab and go “ came in a paper bag. The room was very hot at night but there was a portable electric fan in the room which helped ( we did visit in the summer) The bus to Manchester was outside the hotel and frequent and was £2 for a single into the city centre"

"No tea and coffee in the room pushed you to go and pay for breakfast and the breakfast was not very good. Had to put my bread through the toaster 8 times before it resembled toast and the bacon looked like it had been cooked over a heated argument."
