"The lady at the cute front desk was very helpful during my stay. The gentleman who took my bags to my room, as well as operated the old-fashioned elevator, was fabulous. The room was just beautiful and so far from a typical hotel room that I felt like I was a treasured "grand dame!" "The staff, especially the receptionist was the best part of staying at this hotel. She was extremely helpful and went out of her way to accommodate guests requests and was the reason I would stay there again. The property on the whole was kind of very homely and was a delightful place. The backyard and the patio were not business like and reminded me of a very nice small town private house. The mango and avocado trees gave the place a natural and serene look and one could relax in the backyard...

"The cleaning staff needs to clean the floors of the room better. Variety of past shoe prints on wood. Shower had left over female bodily fluids. To be fair I didn’t notice at first because it blended in with the pattern of the floor but then the water hit it and it was clear. There was a nice glass out on the balcony filled with old cigarettes and water. I do smoke but would never use a drinking glass as an ashtray. I always use a closable half empty water bottle. "fire alarm testing and on during all the 3 day stay. I ask for a late checkout for all tje inconvenience this brought to us and all they gave us was 1 add hour. . Fire alarm defective and sounded several times at 3 am... then requeste to leace hotel... false alarm.. during the day before they were running alarm trst alll day. the day after alarm tests.... staff at the counter very rude."
