"Great location! The Refuge Inn's rooms were individually decorated and very quaint. A pony pen was next to the hotel that our grandkids loved to visit and feed corn kernels to the ponies. Staff was friendly and made us feel like guests not customers."

"This place is super cheap with a clean bed for a night. That’s about it for the good. Started out with no one answering phones or responding to the text questions I had the day of our stay (we were coming in fairly late). On check in I couldn’t tell if the woman at the desk thought we weren’t particularly intelligent or if that was her southern style. "Great location on the quiet side that’s only five minutes from all the stuff. Awesome views of the lighthouse and the sound. Super nice staff and cozy cabins. If you’re thinking about a boat or kayak tour, book with Snug Harbor. The best."
