"We loved our stay @ this rental. It fit our needs as a family of 5 and was comfortable with all of the amenities. There were only a couple things we needed to get used to was the fact that being in the wilderness meant the area had a lot of bugs - inside and out. There were also no fans (except ceiling fans in the 3 bedrooms) to use since there was no AC, but with the windows open, it was a bit cooler. "We had a wonderful time at Shining Shire! We chose it for its closeness to Lake Tahoe, pet-friendliness, and space for family. It didn’t disappoint! Besides the basics, we enjoyed the gourmet kitchen, downstairs home theatre, and the sauna. They even had a large pet bed ready for our dog."

"The listing originally said a 4 bedroom and then when we got there the owner locked one of the bedrooms and would not let us in. The listing clearly stated 4 bedrooms and could sleep 8. So 2 adults had to sleep on couchs that were not even a pull out couch. I have tried to contact them to correct the issue and they basically call me a liar even though they admitted there was another room. They lie to get people to book and then refuse to correct their errors. Would NOT reccommend this company...
