"For our honeymoon, my wife and I had a Mon-Fri 4 night stay in what the resort calls cabin 5, Expedia calls the design cabin. Just a couple of tiny details prevented us from rating 5 out of 5 or 10 out of 10. Positives: Incredible view of the lake from the cabin patio. Nice access to the water with a dock and little sandy beach. Pool and hot tubs are top notch and close walking distance. Bed was very comfortable, we have back trouble and are very picky about bed firmness and comfort. Nicely equipped kitchen. Great dining experience at Boondockz, also within easy walking distance. Cabin was clean although minimally appointed - the listing accurately pictured and described it more like a fishing trip cabin, it is NOT a condo or someone's home. It is a very quiet and remote location with the nearest store being a Dollar General about 25 min away. We enjoyed having our dog with us. So far, a perfect review. Lows: There are a few maintenance items which need attention with exterior doors not closing well and with the laminate floors curling up in some places. Given that there is a nice charcoal grill, we expected and didn't bring any seasoning for grilling. The only thing there was pepper. The little store didn't have any seasonings to buy. If we had known we would have brought our own. Communication was poor, phone calls and FB messages went unanswered. Overall, a perfect mini-moon stay. Would love to give a perfect review as we had a great time but have to say 4/5 or 8/10."
