"The one main thing is that they need better signage. Almost every person gets lost finding their way around the property. The area where breakfast is served has the tiniest sign. We searched with another couple to find the location walking all around the property. Luckily their son in law was walking nearby and knew where to go. I have to say that Joe the woman who prepares the breakfast does an amazing job. Her food selection is spot on. She even had chocolate milk. Her morning pastries are a delight. They are not like the typical ones that are gummy and medicinal tasting and covered with gross icing. She actually bakes trays of flaky pastries. There is oatmeal, biscuits that were really good, sausage, bacon, yogurt, juices, an egg item , bagels, a machine that makes pancakes, syrup, potatoes, sometimes sausage gravy, butter, jelly, coffee, tea bags, We have absolutely no complaints on the food for breakfast. Thank you Joe for caring so much. The reason we give a 4 is because they need better signage to be able to navigate our way around the property. We understand the owner is working on upgrading the property and yes it is dated. It was very affordable for us and we hope the prices won’t go up. Having stayed at numerous properties in South Bend and Granger this property was a winner. It is in a great location. The front desk employees never question why you need fresh towels or more soaps, shampoo…"
