Hotel Alice At Atlantic Beach

"Hotel Alice is truly a hidden gem tucked into Pine Knoll Shores. With a secluded, private feel enhanced by native plantings and a partially hidden wetlands artfully screened and protected by a native plant buffer zone, the hotel sits back from the main road . The Hotel Alice is in pristine condition inside and out. The outdoor pool is spotless and well maintained, with plenty of comfortable furniture for relaxing in luxury. The interior decorations of the common areas is contemporary and tasteful, nothing jarring or tacky. The Staff at Hotel Alice are all very welcoming, helpful, resourceful and sincerely kind. It's been an honor and a privilege to be a guest at Hotel Alice, truly. Every thoughtful accomodations is available, and special needs are cheerfully attended to upon request. To say this is a 10 hardly covers how much my partner and I have loved being here! We originally had a 4 night stay booked but then spontaneously added another 2 nights to our stay because we just love this place so much. The Hotel Alice is close to every restaurant on the Atlantic Beach NC island and Fort Fisher State Park Beaches. Bikes and even beach wagons are available. A Public Beach Access for the Atlantic Beach is directly across the street from the Hotel. I highly recommend the Hotel Alice to everyone seeking a dog-friendly, gay-friendly, more-than-comfortable, restful , clean, enjoyable place at the beach!"

"As a member I requested an early checkin when I arrived at 1:00PM. The attendant at the counter said that I could not checkin until 3:00PM. I sat in the lobby and I could not checkin until 3:00 on the dot, not a minute earlier. While I was in the lobby waiting a man and a woman came in. The man was extremely intoxicated. Staff allowed him entrance. The man came to me asking where the bathroom was. I told him and pointed to it. He then walked past the bathroom, went into a hotel room, and relieved himself right there in the floor. He then came out apologizing. All the while I saw no action from any employee at the hotel. The lady at the counter was not very friendly nor helpful."

"Well, The playground was very nice for kids, but the pool was not heated, the room door was stuck so you had to kick it to open, the pass key card failed 4 times in two days, hot tub was nice, rooms are kinda small, had to go to front desk to get towels every day, and my biggest problem was that there was no washer and dryer to use on site so you had to go into town and find a laundromat. Overall if you are going for a couple of days it a nice place, but if looking for a place for a week or two, not so much......"

"Rooms were clean, quiet and the beds were comfy. The pool was very clean. Breakfast was pretty good. The ladies were very good about restocking it when it ran out and they were really sweet. Definitely one of my most positive hotel stays. Would stay here again if I am in the area again in the future"

"The rooms were really nasty, and we had reservations for 3 rooms. The bed sheet was dirty, and it even had creases. The counter tables and all were super dirty. I even told the manager (Terri) to please take a look when i when to put my thing in the room and nothing was done. let to talk about the smell of weed, cigarret, mold, ect smell was crazy. I also told the manager (Terri ) and she sid she will put an oder machine and it was onlt please in one room. when we came back from our outting nothing at 12 am was done . All was told to be fix at chek in 3pm. When I call her at 12am because the lobby was close the manager Terri was super rude hang up the phone and all. PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS PLACE."
