"There is new carpet, the sheets were white a& clean, the big fridge and microwave were very handy & pretty red! You can tell this was an old motel, but they have put a lot of hard work and care into updating it and have given it a fresh coat of paint inside and outside. Also, new easy to use locks on the doors and a/c fan units.
The room is very basic without a coffee pot (there is a drive-through coffee shop about one block away!) but it does have shampoo and soap. And the towels were very white and fluffy and numerous!
Around the toilet, there were a few of the linoleum tiles that the corners were popping up.
It was quiet and I felt safe as a solo woman traveler. It was easy to find and the contact person was very helpful (although through the booking app that I used our messages were delayed to each other, so just be aware that it might not seem to be an instant answer!)"
