"We love this hotel ! It was exceptional! The food was good and the place was kept so clean and lovely. Everything was so convenient! The pool was great and there was a washroom, a change room and a warm shower right near the pool! (Can’t say the same for the Alt airport hotel’s pool area!"

The little extras (variety of teas, plump cushions, cozy throws, reading lamp and corner chair) really made us feel pampered. We enjoyed the sauna, short walk to the Main Street and variety of restaurants. Theses owners are experts in hospitality."

"The view of the harbour from our room was great and the location to restaurants etc was very good. On street parking was hard to find. Room was very dated which I sort of expected. Linens need to be replaced and washed more effectively and area carpet was stained and tired. Breakfast at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Room came equipped with milk and creamers in the fridge as well as real glasses and mugs instead of paper and plastic. Nice touch."

"We looked out at the Bluenose sailboat from our room. We had a very high four post king bed that we used the stool provided to climb into. It was a quaint room with all the necessities needed for an overnight stay. We had a delicious meal at restaurant below."

Coffee and snack stations including ice cream sandwiches in the second floor refrigerator!! Breakfast was fresh, homemade and plentiful. Walkable to town for craft beer and delicious eats!!! "The motel is very cute with a lovely location on the Minas Basin. The rooms have been renovated and are functional. It's great to have a mini fridge, kettle, coffee maker, and microwave. We had an issue with our unit being double booked. The attendant on the helpline was doing her absolute best to address the issue but it took a while and was frustrating. It would have been nice if the owners has been more responsive. The other guest were very quiet and respectful. It was lovely to watch the...
