Cabin Rentals in Manatee County

"We stayed only one night. At arrival at the property it looked very sketchy. We had no idea the reviews it had already. When we got to the room there was tons of people smoking. There was No Smoking signs everywhere. Our room smelled like cigarettes, I found roaches and the bed cover had a stain to what it looked like blood. We were able to switch to another room. That one had no smell but we still found a good amount of roaches and the shower had no shampoo, conditioner or body wash. I was giving only a small container. I informed the front desk about the roaches but it seemed like he didn’t care and told us management will call us. Still waiting on that call. Definitely not staying again and don’t recommend this hotel."

"Room was adequate but the bathroom was rediculously small. You could not sit squarely on the toilet….and we are not large people. The sink was tiny…1/3 normal size. I would not stay at this facility again. "

"The room is nothing special—you get what you pay for, which was expected. However, they allow various laborers to use their parking lot throughout the night, and these individuals blasted music from their vehicles the entire time without even having a room at the property. If you are unbothered by loud music being played all night, this is the place for you."

"We had a wonderful experience at The Retreat at Anna Maria Island Inn. The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The room was spacious and clean, conveniently designed which made our stay very comfortable. The location was excellent. Just across the street from a beautiful stretch of beach, it was exactly what we wanted. Would love to return in the future!"

"The room was clean. The fridge contained food that someone had left behind, and the cleaning staff hadn't thrown it out. Very unpleasant."

"the shower door didn’t close initially and had to bring it to the attention of the staff twice, the towel rack was falling apart, paint on the other towel holder. Only really hot water and no cold water in the shower and the sink "

"A motel in a bad area of town. The room smelled like pet urine, the mattress was thin, cheap, and on a flimsy wired bed frame. There was only one light in the room. I ended up not staying the night. I drove home, which was 75 miles away."
