"Our second time staying here. Our first time was when they just opened and really wasn’t impressed but thought we would give them a try again. Our room was clean. The room was not ready by 4pm because they had a large group the day before so unable to get rooms turned over quick enough. The pool had sand on the tanning ledge, which we found odd. The sand was there for the next couple of days. Walking the property the trash cans were overflowing in the public areas, cigarette butts on the ground and even a few burn marks/holes in the cushions. The bartender at the pool was fabulous and knowledgeable. The bartender inside was unable to maintain the bar area and service orders. She struggled with the pace and demand. She needed a person doing bar back duties. The restaurant is a one trick pony same menu as previous visit. Needs a little tweaking. I have lots of suggestions for what they could do. I did see they had a few corporate groups there and they seemed to cater to their wants and needs. I just wish this hotel was better, it has the potential to be an outstanding upscale place to stay."
