"My original room was not ready, as in, bed was unmade. Nor towels. I was assigned another room. That room was also dirty. Bathroom hadn’t been touched, there was still food in the refrigerator from the prior guest, the shower was not clean nor had it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while as there was wet toilet paper on the ground next to the toilet which I also forgot to mention I hadn’t used till the next morning and discovered it was clogged.
The next morning I put out my towels for house keeping to pick up. The towels were picked up in front of my room however my room hadn’t been touched, the bed wasn’t made and there were no fresh towels in the room. I had to track down house keeping for fresh towels for the room.
I requested to talk to the manager and was told they would be in Sunday morning.
Of course no one was there to accept responsibility for the absolute horrible accommodations. They knew it was bad and did NOTHING TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION.
If these are individually owned franchises this one needs pulled from the owner because it giving holiday inn express a bad name and it’s going to start with me as I was there on military business and I will spread the word about this particular hotel."
