Te Mahuru Retreat
Truly an awesome place to stay. Friendly and welcoming hosts, beautiful gardens, super well equipped rooms and two superb spa pools to relax in. Also handy is the lovely Irish pub and restaurant 5 minutes walk away. I highly recommend this accommodation.

The place was great! Maybe not for everyone but perfect for anyone with kids or just looking for something a little different. Breakfast menu is buffet only. $35 per head for full breaky. Not sure about continental buffet. We went down around 8ish. Food had been sitting for a while so mostly warmish. Kaikoura Quality Suites
The kitchen was adequate but the BBQ area had no cooking implements. When we enquired we were told that everything we needed was already at the BBQ, however this was not the case.
