"We spent 4 nights here and would highly recommend this hotel. The location was very convenient, close to the train station. The onsen were really nice, you have a great view of the town on the upper floor, after taking a bath. Private onsen is also very affordable (1000 yen). The breakfast was also great, traditional meal and also a buffet where you can get more stuff. Would definitely stay here again"

"My mom got her own room And it smelled okay but the room i got was very musty and there was mold on the drapes and the toilet was very stinky amd there was a sticky goo on the seat that made your butt stick to the toilet. The laundry area was unbearably smelly and made my eyes burnnn other than that was all good"

"The check in process was complicated compaired to all the other accomodations we have stayed.there ead no welcome pack, dirty and worn out kitchen sponge, the photis on the internet are misleading, they advertise that there is a wash room upstairs but it was 2 tiny basins with cold water only. "The stay at KAI Beppu was nothing short of amazing. It was my first time in Beppu, and staying at KAI made the experience truly memorable. The sea-view shakkei was beautiful and definitely the highlight. The room was well-sized, and the indoor onsen was a godsend. The kaiseki meals were also delicious, and choosing the half-board option was a great decision. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always smiling.
