Very nice and clean to my standards. And staff are very nice and respectful to there customers. Location area is alright not to bad. And the room I was staying in was clean to my standards

This place was not at all as advertised. We ended up not staying and I was assured I would get a full refund. That said, I have not seen a single cent returned yet. So the skinny of why rate this place so poorly; I'm a fairly frequent traveler and I can say without hesitation that this motel was the worst I have ever seen. It was not at all as pictured. Upon parking, I found what appeared to be homeless people loitering under the walkway overhangs. When reaching the checkin desk, the clerk was nice and seemed as though she was trying to offer me subtle warning about the motel quality as she gave me a room key. As my kids and I stepped off the elevator to the 3rd floor we made our way to the room.thr hallway was dank and dirty. When entering the room, we found dirty sheets on unmade beds, written was a word that describes a lady of the night on headboard of one of the beds, a filthy bathroom that most certainly had not been cleaned or a minimum, flushed after the last user emptied their bowels, and to top it off, a set of stick on eyelashes were stuck on the mirror. I did not check for bedbugs but, based on what we had just walked into, I have little doubt, they were lurking about. We left the room, went back to the check in desk. The clerk was not surprised and offended an apology and asked if we would like to try another room, she gave us key card and up the second floor we went. The second room was worse. We stayed somewhere else. DO NOT BOOK!!!!!!

Parking is sketchy at best. The parking light lot(s) are not lit up in the least bit. For it being in a relatively sketchy area, its not the best hotel for a single person. This hotel is ond of those hotels that you use the buddy system.

Dirty, disgusting, unsafe. DO NOT BOOK!!! The description on the site is horribly inaccurate. The eating establishments in “walking distance” have been closed and boarded up for years. This option should not even be offered on Expedia or any other site as it is worse than you can possibly imagine.

Yes they were clean. As well as the hallways and sitting area in the lobby. The parking is great also the staff. The only two thing's that I could say that is an inconvenience. Are the elevator not working and with myself having to have double hip replacement surgery. Is extremely difficult walking up the stairs to the third floor. And the ice machine doesn't work on the floor. But I can not lie... The price as well as the comfortable environment. Wonderful and the staff. I will highly recommend Staywell anytime.! For the Kalamazoo Michigan location.

This hotel is definitely not recommended due to poor maintenance and poor management. The check-in process was fine; however, I had to leave immediately after entering the room due to several issues. The room was not clean—the sofa was dirty and stained, and the bathtub was also dirty. One of the lights was not working, and the door did not open properly. In addition, the room had a strong smell of smoke. Because of these conditions, I was unable to stay and had to book another hotel for the night. This was very inconvenient and disappointing. The hotel denied any refunds for my 6 nights stay.

Title: Absolute Nightmare - Health and Safety Hazards Review: I booked a "Deluxe" room, but what I walked into was uninhabitable and dangerous. Upon arrival, the door to our room was wide open, the TV was on, and the bed was messy. Most alarmingly, the room was completely missing its smoke detector/fire alarm, which is a major safety code violation. The conditions only got worse: Structural Issues: One of the beds was broken and collapsed. Filth: There was old food left under the beds and the bathroom was so disgusting I had to clean it myself just to feel safe using it. Lack of Amenities: For a room booked for 4 people, we were only given one towel and three small pillows. Unhelpful Staff: When I asked for towels or a room change, the front desk told me they didn't have a key to the supply room and refused to help further. Do not stay here. It is not "Deluxe" or even basic—it is an unsafe and unsanitary property. I am currently pursuing a full refund.

The parking was fine the pool wasn't open and they don't open it the room was nasty and dirty had cockroachs and our door didn't even have a lock on it
