"This is truly the best resort for families! We honeymooned at Napili Kai 20 years ago and decided to bring our kids this time. Best choice we made! They have so much to do and the beach is gorgeous! Best one on Maui!!! We were busy between putting golf, snorkeling right in the cove outside our room, and the lei making activity. This resort had the most "Polynesian" feel compared to any or resort we've been to on our many trips to the islands. The grounds are super lush and there's so many tripical plants to see. Don't sleep on it---reserve your stay and make the best memories!!!"

"We loved this hotel. While it's not a classic 'on the beach' resort, beaches are close by and the overall setting is beautiful. We had one of the 'fire lanai' rooms which turned out to be a great choice. The staff was great too. Next time we go to Maui, we plan to stay here again!"

"We were very undecided about a place to stay on our trip as all reviews at other places had pro and cons like this place. Honestly we picked this because of the bundle deal but I believe we got super lucky with the best place on the island. Absolutely stunning. So quiet and relaxing. I won’t even look at other places now for our next visit. Thank you"

"The Kapalua Bay Villas are located on the cliffs above Kapalua Bay. The Villa we were in had a large grass area in front of us, then the cliffs, ocean, etc. Yremendiously beautiful setting. Sitting on the patio and listening to the wind and waves is incredibly tranquil... It is truly a multimillion dollar view. While I give 5 stars, mostly for the location, as the actual condo is starting to get a bit run down. The walls need paint and some repairs. The counter grout is chipping out of the seams. Floor tiles are cracked. The couch is very worn and quite uncomfortable. The bed is very mushy. My back hurt the entire time I stayed there. The condo door sticks shut, and requires a serious slamming to align the deadbolt for security. The condo, while it looked decently cleaned, had many dead and some alive gnats. Would I rent this condo again... Not unless they changed out the couch and bed... Yeah, they were bad. On the positive side, the grounds are beautiful, and the pools have been recently refurbished, or are in the process of being refurbished. The proximity to hiking trails and the beach are huge positives. Overall, I still give the Villas 5 stars, but that's for the location... If just for the condo, the degree of "disrepair" would only rank 4 stars... Overall, a 4.5 star experience."
