Kapalua Ridge Villas Resort by KBM

"We had a very pleasant stay and really enjoyed the apartment! The view was amazing, and the location was great. It’s about a 15–20 minute walk to the beach, or you can easily drive there. There is some free parking available if you’re lucky enough to grab a spot, or paid parking for $10 for 3 hours. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back! The only downside was the air conditioning upstairs. It got quite hot, possibly because of the roof, or maybe the AC itself needs to be cleaned or upgraded. The hosts actually offered to come and take a look, which we appreciated, but we decided not to bother since we only had two nights left in our stay. Other than that, everything was great, and we really enjoyed our time here! Can't wait to come back!"

"Hale Napili is in an excellent location. Sad that the beach is eroding. It’s a very nice older complex. Nice small grass area in front. Often hard to sit on lawn area because people come out and put towels on chairs and leave. Nice to have a complimentary laundry room."

The Resort at Kapalua Bay by KBM Resorts

"The actual condo accommodation was a 10/10. Dealing with KBM management company was less than ideal and detracted from the experience. KBM sent innumerable emails and texts including a strict 11 AM check out which felt more like a "get out." The charged an additional $300/day "registration fee" that was never disclosed. After a number of phone calls and talking with the Montage front desk, this was removed. We asked for service on the TV in the main room that was never addressed. The resort is in a great location, but they are renovating the adjacent tower. I would go back for the views and luxurious condo, but not if KBM is managing it."

"The property was in exquisite shape and the unit was very well kept. Great location! Just a short walk down a hill to beach access. Many restaurants nearby. Easy to drive to the unit."
Kapalua Bay Villas by KBM

"The Kapalua Bay Villas are located on the cliffs above Kapalua Bay. The Villa we were in had a large grass area in front of us, then the cliffs, ocean, etc. Yremendiously beautiful setting. Sitting on the patio and listening to the wind and waves is incredibly tranquil... It is truly a multimillion dollar view. While I give 5 stars, mostly for the location, as the actual condo is starting to get a bit run down. The walls need paint and some repairs. The counter grout is chipping out of the seams. Floor tiles are cracked. The couch is very worn and quite uncomfortable. The bed is very mushy. My back hurt the entire time I stayed there. The condo door sticks shut, and requires a serious slamming to align the deadbolt for security. The condo, while it looked decently cleaned, had many dead and some alive gnats. Would I rent this condo again... Not unless they changed out the couch and bed... Yeah, they were bad. On the positive side, the grounds are beautiful, and the pools have been recently refurbished, or are in the process of being refurbished. The proximity to hiking trails and the beach are huge positives. Overall, I still give the Villas 5 stars, but that's for the location... If just for the condo, the degree of "disrepair" would only rank 4 stars... Overall, a 4.5 star experience."
