Nice guiet hotel right on the beach.

Good for chilling in the sun.
The hotel is nice and the staff likewise. It's right on the beach (which is not that nice) and 20 meters into the ocean there's a small collection of corals with heaps of fish. The area is not that exciting but you can easily rent a scooter from the hotel and get around on your own.

Wonderful
Me and my girlfriend had an absolutely amazing time. Max (hotel manager) and his staff made our stay the most perfect get away in one of the coolest parts of the island. We will be back!!!

Hôtel dans la moyenne sans plus (coût/prestations)
Hôtel difficile à trouver, même pour notre chauffeur, il est situé dans un chemin limite carrossable . L'immeuble relativement récent est situé en bord de mer , le cadre est sympa avec la plage de galet et les pirogues balinaises à balanciers. Chambre propre située au bord de la piscine mais pas de réfrigérateur ni de bouilloire à thé/café ni de coffre, la climatisation est limite .... Le wifi est très faible voir inexistant, pour "surfer" il faut se rapprocher de la salle de restauration donc sortir de la chambre. La piscine à débordement qui paraît très sympathique n'est pas utilisable, le niveau d'eau est trop bas donc filtration quasi nulle, très nombreuses impuretés à la surface (insectes morts, plumes, etc...), température avoisinant les 33° et filtration coupée de 19h00 à 08h00 !!!! Le service de blanchisserie est à éviter sur 11 vêtements donnés 4 T-Shirts et 1 pantalon sont HS, il ont été ébouillantés et ont déteints .... Bref !!!!!

Average hotel.
On our arrival to the hotel in Amed, they had no booking for us! They were fully booked for our first night so had to send us next door. We then moved back to Amed Beach Resort for the remainder of our stay. Can't understand why they had no booking as we had the paperwork with us that said 'The reservation is booked. No need to call us to reconfirm this reservation'. Not sure whether the lack of booking was the fault of Expedia or Amed Beach Resort. We found the air conditioning was ineffective. Upon requesting a cocktail we were advised no alcoholic beverages were available only beer. Even though their drinks menu included a number of cocktails and wines, these were not available. Continual barking from dogs nearby was very annoying.

Privilégié les chambres avec salle de bain fermées car quand c'est à ciel ouvert c'est très difficile à Refroidir, l'air climatisé n'est pas assez fort. pour l'apnée, vous devez marcher 15 minutes vers la gauche quand vous êtes face à l'hôtel côté de la mer.

Ça a commencé mal, mais finalement ça s'est bien f
Suite à une erreur de leur part(ils ont reçu 2 réservations différentes dans un même mail) je n'ai pas séjourné dans cet hôtel mais le réceptionniste m'a trouvé une suite avec vue sur l'océan dans un autre hôtel ( Bobby's villa) qui était bien ( par rapport à ce qu'on peut trouver à Amed) L'hôtel à l'air bien et bien situé mais je vous conseille de les contacter quand même pour confirmer votre réservation

Hotel is a way from the main bays and beaches. Needed a scooter to get around. Staff we're lovely, very basic hotel room. No fridge or safe in basic room.

On ne peut pas être plus près de la mer
L'arrivée est déconcertante car il n'y a pas d'entrée par la rue, on arrive par la plage. L'accueil est très chaleureux, l'hôtel très propre et bien tenu, restaurant agréable et ventilé. Six chambres flambant neuves sont en cours d'installation. Nous avons passé 4 nuits et ne nous sommes pas ennuyés, il y a beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire autour de Amed (Tirta Gangga, waterPalace, joli marché d'Amlapura, plongée....) Nous recommandons chaudement cet hôtel.

Hotel is close to sea, nice view from balcony. Good breakfast. Room Interiour a bit poor, no bed lamps for reading, no chairs, no fridge and lockers to all doors need to be repaired.

Vous serez un peu désemparés à votre arrivée. Une espece de parking sabloneux, un mur en parpaing et béton derriere lequel on s'attend à trouver n'importe quoi sauf un hotel! Et pourtant on arrive vite sur l'endroit de villegiature plutot mignon avec des chambres qui donnent plein feux sur l'ocean indien! A ce sujet, votre premiere nuit risque d'etre un peu mouvementée, ayant l'impression que les vagues vont rentrer dans la chambre, mais des la 2eme tout se passe beaucoup mieux. On vous recommande vivement d'assister au lever de soleil qui est simplement somptueux! Pour le resto, on a eu un peur au début avec des nappes pas très propres mais on y a finalement mangé plusieurs fois et nous n'avons jamais été malades, aucun.probleme donc! Bref un endroit un peu roots et detente loin des standards habituels mais où le manager viendra peut etre prendre son repas avec vous à la cool. Pas de pression et endroit propice aux echanges avec les autres residents! Un bon souvenir.

We enjoyed excellent service at this hotel, the staff are very kind and friendly. The hotel is located on the beach. Lots of restaurants with great food within walking distance.

Calme petit hôtel
Un joli petit hôtel juste au bord de la mer avec une piscine agréable. Très peu de chambres donc calme et intimiste. Un petit restaurant dans l'hôtel permet de se restaurer. Le gros point négatif serait sur les abords de l'hôtel, pas du tout entretenus, presque abandonnés.

Ich hatte das Zimmer mit der Nummer zwei und einen tollen Ausblick über das Meer. Die ungewöhnliche Dusche hatte kein Dach, sondern der Himmel guckte rein. Fand ich super. Mein Bett hatte einen Rundum-Moskitovorhang der ein gewisses Himmelbett-Feeling aufkommen lies und den Schlaf Mokitofrei hielt. Die Küche fand ich wirklich lecker und das Personal ist zutraulich und hilfsbereit. Eine Fahrt zum nächsten ATM? Zum Frisör? Ein Roller? Ein Tauchgang? Transfer? Tagesausflug? Alles scheint möglich. Also ich wurde wieder hin gehen. Momentan 06/2014 entstehen sechs neue Zimmer also ist mit etwas Baulärm (Hämmern und Sägen) zu rechnen, hat mich aber nicht gestört.

Nous devions y passer une nuit et résultat nous sommes resté 4 jours!! Le personnel est adorable et très serviable. L'hotel est au calme et juste devant la mer! Ce n'est pas une usine à touriste...Si nous revenons a Bali, c'est sans aucune hesitation que nous y retournerons. Un grand merci à toute l'equipe!

Quiet beach hotel
Had a bit of a hesitation pulling up to the hotel given the construction and parking lot right next to it. When walking on the beach to the reception area I was pleasently surprised at the hotel. It was beautifuly landscaped, with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The staff were freindly and wonderful. We had a massage on the pool deck overlooking the ocean every day. Staff brought in a perrson for us. The breakfast was good. The room was a good size. There were three of us so an extra bed was brought in but there was still plenty of room. No hot water for the shower though.

Decent hotel, but far from main activities
The hotel and rooms were in a decent condition, apart from a cockroach in the bathroom. It has a nice swimming pool and is on the quiet side of beach. However, it is far from the main snorkelling and diving spots. Walking isn't the easiest and it's pretty difficult to get around without a scooter from here. The hotel food was good. The hotel offered decent value for money.

meilleur place à amed
Bien mieux qu'un simple hôtel (4 chambres dans le bt principal et 1 chambre dans un autre bt),tenu par une famille Balinaise qui vous invitera peut être à une de leur cérémonie religieuse..Un humour exceptionnel de la part de certains membres du personnel et un cadre enchanteur l'accès à l’hôtel est à revoir car pas vraiment terrible mais à l’interrieur c'est le top.

Friendly but a little worn down
Friendly staff and nice location. The beach is nice but there is no good snorkeling, for that you need to go around two km on a motorbike. The food was good and the breakfast pancakes the best I've had on Bali. Our room was nuce but small things could have made it better. For instance the box the zink was on was water damaged and should be replaced.

Great little place and service was outstanding. The hotel was right on the smooth black rock beach and had a beautiful view. Only drawback was the location Amed seemed like a long strip of shops and restaurants spread far apart on one very busy highway far too difficult to walk anywhere. If you want to relax by the beach and pool this is the place to stay. We loved Nicholas Cage and Eddie Murphy two great guys who took on easy to remember names for clumsy Americans. They took such good care of us it felt like home.

Shut the gate!!!
Beautiful little hotel with warm hearted owner and staff. They effortlessly made you feel a part of the family and the furniture. Amazing views across the ocean and to the volcano. Some of the sunsets were simply awe inspiring. Crystal clear water right out in front and coral snorkelling not far they take you in a boat. Perfect for us who wanted to laze about in quiet beauty. Shut the gate!! This ones a winner!!

Amazing getaway from the hustle and bustle
Amazing location. Staff were only too happy to talk to you about the area and the way of life in the Area. Food in the hotel was superb and to the highest standard. Menu offered traditional dishes as well as specials with foods which are in season or have been freshly caught. The hotel offered a range of activities and very good prices including snorkelling on a traditional fishing boat, fishing, and motorbike hire. The area was very quiet and a nice change from other busy areas of Bali. Taking a motorbike into the foothills and surrounding villages opens up the area to a wide variety of activities, eateries and sightessing.

Hotel adorable et dépaysant à souhait
Hotel très bien situé sur la plage d' Amed où l'on peut profiter de la plage, de la piscine et du très gentil accueil de la famille qui a monté l'établissement il y a moins de deux ans. Ne vous attendez pas à beaucoup de touristes, cet hôtel n'a que 4 chambres mais il est charmant et s'il est plein de défauts comme les portes qui grincent, c'est de voir la mer depuis son lit qui n'a pas de prix. Je vous. le conseille fortement tout comme la cuisine de la famille, toujours fraîche
