Die Anlage ist ein Traum. Ruhig trotz der vielen einzelnen Unterkünfte, schöner Pool direkt am Strand, gemütliche Atmosphäre, gutes Restaurant und Frühstück. Wir hatten die vorderste kleine Villa nur 20 Meter vom Strand entfernt. Der Ort ist toll, Ausfahrten mit dem Boot sind schnell organisiert, entweder in der Anlage beim Amed Diving Center oder bei einem der Fischer am Strand. ca. 1km den Strand herunter kann man hervorragend schnorcheln, es gibt einige Strandbars und Restaurants, ohne dass man sich in einem überfüllten Ort fühlt. In der Anlage kann man auch Massagen buchen. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundliche, nett und hilfsbereit. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für uns sehr gut !

It’s an older property now but still has a charm about it. The staff are wonderful. When I saw the earplugs in the room I had no idea what they’re for. It’s dogs … the place is crawling with them and they howl, bark and fight during the night. Do yourself a favour a stick the earplugs in before you go to sleep!! Amed beach could do everyone a favour and introduce compulsory desexing of the dogs. Would greatly improve it as a tourist destination

Peaceful Homey Eco Hotel
I absolutely love this hotel. The property grounds are so peaceful, and loved playing pool, swimming at the pool, and the ocean. The complimentary breakfast was a choice of all sorts of fruits, nasi goreng, or a standard eggs, ham, and bread, although their bread is made fresh every morning and delicious. The staff is so eager to help in anyway and extremely helpful. Nenu even let us borrow kebaya and a sarong for Kuningan, so we could attend a ceremony! We’ve stayed here twice and would stay here again if ever in Amed. Thanks so much Uyah!

Salty by the Sea !
This is the second time we have stayed here - and will not be the last. Great place, on the water edge, its just at the start of Amed (which is very spread out), so you can walk to lots of places still. The main pool is great (have not swam in the family rooms area pool), there is a pool side bar, so food and drinks are close at hand. The rooms are spacious, as is the bathrooms. We had room 24 I think - so you can see Mt Agung very easily from your front verandah / porch. Breakfast is basic, but leaves you full. They have an area in the hotel where they produce salt from the sea water. Interesting ! - and nice tasty natural salt ! ... Overall, we like it here, and will be back for sure ! (Uyah means Salt ~ in Balinese language).

The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful could not fault them. Rooms are clean but quite dated and the room could really do with having a fridge. Overall great hotel in a great location, I would definitely stay here again.

バリの田舎のコテージ
10年以上まえに訪れた時に、海と星のきれいさに感動した。 アメッドにはまた来たいと思いビーチ沿いのこのホテルを予約した。 ビーチからすぐのコテージで部屋から少しだけ見えるオーシャンビュー。 夜は星を見にビーチへ、ビーチチェアー倒して星空観賞。大量の星とてもきれいでした。 ホテルの敷地は広く、プールが2つあり、ビーチに近い大き目の深いプールを利用した。 庭の手入れは行き届いており、芝生がとても綺麗でした。 レストランでは丁度、民族舞踊が行われ一緒に踊ったりバリらしい体験ができてよかったです。 部屋はいたってシンプルで、掃除が行き届いており田舎のコテージのイメージ。テレビと冷蔵庫はなかったのですが、それもまた自然を満喫するにはよいとおもいます。アメニティはエコ推進のため、歯ブラシとシャンプーリンスのみ。 ミネラルウォーターはアクアが水差しにたっぷり入っておりなくなったら補充してくれる仕組み。部屋はクーラー付きかファンのみが選べるのですが、クーラー付きがおすすめです。アメッドは比較的涼しいのですが、日中は日差しが強いです。 ホテルの周りには小さな食堂が何件かありますが、できればバイクか自転車を借りて少し離れた村に食事に出かけたり夕日を見に行くのもおすすめです。 スタッフはみなフレンドリーでよく声をかけてくれました。 またアメッドに行くときには利用したいと思います。

Ganz nett und freundlicher Service
Da wir uns entschlosssen habe, hier zu Tauchen war auch die Buchung des Hotels eigentlich selbstverständlich. Es handelt sich um eine großzügige, gepflegte Anlage mit unterschiedlichen Zimmerkategorien. Der Raum 25 ist direkt am Strand, hat heißes Wasser und A/C. TV und Kühlschrank sind nicht vorhanden. Die Anlage verfügt über 2 Pools und ausreichend Liegemöglichkeiten. Außerdem kann man sich hier auch massieren lassen und zwar zu Preisen wie außerhalb. Hervorzuheben ist das sehr sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Personal. Am letzten Tag wurden wir um 15 Uhr abgeholt und konnten noch bis 14 Uhr nach den beiden Tauchgängen duschen.  Fazit: gerne wieder, wenngleich sich Hartmuth auch nach seiner Rückkehr am 4.04. nicht mehr gemeldet hat und in seinem Package kein Packetvorteil erkennbar war

Ich habe mich nicht gemeldet, da mir gesagt wurde, dass ihr krank seid. Ich wollte ich Euch nicht stoeren. Vielen Dank fuer den Hinweis mit dem Paketpreis. So ist uns aufgefallen dass ihr bei Eurer online Buchung einen falschen, zu niedrigen Preis erhalten habt. Das werden wir umgehend korrigieren! Grundsaetzlich sind unsere Tauch- & Hotel Unterkunft Pakete so kalkuliert, dass sie guenstiger sind als Hotel und Tauchen separat. Comfortable property in Amed
Stay was comfortable. While the property's restaurant was a bit disappointing, the other amenities are nice and the property good looking and well maintained. Just go out for your meals. Decent deal for the price.

Suuri ja kaunis puutarha
Hotellin sijainti oli ihanteellinen. Bungalowin terassilta oli näkymät meren rantaan ja puutarhaan. Hotellin piha-alue on suuri ja hotellilla on kaksi uima-alasta sekä viihtyisät oleskelualueet pihalla. Huone oli vähän kuluneen oloinen verrattuna hienoihin piha-alueisiin. Sängyssä olleet kaksi pientä tyynyä olivat huvittavat, mutta emme jaksaneet illalla enää pyytää lisätyynyjä.

This hotel is wonderful! Stayed here for 3 nights. My Husband went diving with Two Fish & I spent my two whole days at the spa! Firstly, the staff are all great & friendly! Secondly, I love their Indonesian food & their spices! Thirdly, their room is clean & spacious & I love how eco friendly they are in running their hotel systems, using solar & wind to power their energy, recycling waste, supporting local products etc.. We will be back again when my Husband goes there for diving again!

God placering, fredfyldt have, men tydelig alder
Stedet ligger fantastisk, og værelser er pæne og rene, trods tydelig alderdomstegn. Værelset aircon er en smule underdimensioneret og kørte derfor næsten 24/7. Stedet har en fantastisk have og det føles fredeligt og roligt. De to saltvandspools er forfriskende når havet er for vildt. Personalet er virkelig søde, men har mange opgaver. Stedets restaurant er tiden løbet fra. Den inkluderede morgenmad er uinteressant og interiøret trænger til en overhaling.

Paradise location
What more could you ask for, paradise on the beach in authentic Bali! Yes it's not as plush as some of the modern 5* ones in the hustle and bustle of Kuta/Legian/Seminal but my goodness it is smack bang on the beach with climate tranquillity. Amazing views including the volcano and total relaxation. We would definitely return given the chance.

Pleasant stay
Was great to be in Amed - lovely quieter fishing village away from the tourist centers. A real eye opener to see the black beaches and all the fishing boats roll out each morning and then return unloading long nets with their fish catch. Beach was cleaner than Kuta beach which was great too. It was very quiet in March - almost awkwardly quiet when a few times we were the only ones at the restaurant. My husband & I were there with our three primary aged children, we were glad to see we had been given the beach front stand alone villa. Sitting on the veranda in the afternoons while my children napped, looking at the ocean while the afternoon rain and thunderstorms rolled in were bliss. We even summed up the courage to hire a few scooters from the hotel for just $5 per day and we toured the coast line which was great fun and beautiful - highly recommended. Pool & massage spa was great too. Recommend a short walk West along the beach to Restaurant Amed next to the large tin roof dive centre. Their menu is much more varied and exiciting. Wish we had discovered it sooner.

An average hotel for Amed. The staff spoke very little English and the check in was very difficult. The young man was polite and finally took me to the restaurant to speak with a manager. The hotel itself was not bad. It was clean, had hot water and A/C. It was situated on the beachfront. We checked in and then back out the same day. Tthe wifi was only in the restaurant area. I needed service in the room. The room door was locked by a gym lock and key threaded through two rings on the split door. There was no traditional key, or bolt. It was not secure enough for us with computers and dive gear. Each time we walked on the beach, two young girls would try and sell us salt. They were lovely but I am against using children in this way. They had handwritten script in English that was prepared by someone. Dont know if this had the blessing of the property but it was the only place on the beach in Amed that we encountered this. I would give it a 2.5 rating overall.

Pour un séjour long
es restés 11 nuits, ce qui est séjour long pour ce village. Piscine très propre, chambre mériterait plus de changement des serviettes de toilettes. Pas de réfrigérateur et surtout pas de coffre dans les bungalow. Le manager a conserve gratuitement nos papiers, mais un coffre même payant seraient le bienvenu. Personnel extrêmement gentil, très serviable, avec un membre qui parle français. Nous avons eu des soucis pour la confirmation des transports, toute l'équipe s est mobilisée .Très rassurant pour nous, nous n avons en aucun cas eu l impression d être des touristes qui amènent de l argent . Underbar liten oas med mycket grönska. Vi bodde i en villa med egen terrass där man om kvällarna kunde sitta och spela kort medan grodor och andra små djur höll serenad med vågskvalp som bakgrundsmusik. Jättefin pool, otroligt hjälpsam personal. Vi snorklade med hotellets dykcenter en dag vilket var en fantastisk upplevelse. De ordnade även en guidad tur till Tirtan Gangan vattenpalatset. Deras chauffören var toppen. Hämtade oss på flyget, körde guidning och lämnade oss i Sanur efter en vecka. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell om ni vill ta det lugnt. Känns som att bo i djungeln.

Hôtel disposant de deux piscines, dont l'une avec vue sur la mer. Accès à la plage de sable noir depuis l'hôtel. Très calme, restaurant de l'hôtel un peu cher mais warung bon marché aux alentours. Il faut absolument être motorisé, Amed n'est qu'une longue ligne droite de 10 km,... Spot de snorkelling à 10 minutes en scooter. Sinon la chambre était très sombre et j'ai eu une invasion de fourmis le premier soir. Quelqu'un de l'hôtel s'en est occupé avec du spray insecticide en me disant que si elles revenaient je changerais de chambre. Le wifi ne passait pas jusque ma chambre. A mon avis préférer une chambre avec air climatisé, j'ai trouvé qu'il faisait tout de même chaud la nuit avec seulement un ventilateur. Donc pas mal mais beaucoup de détails moyens.

Achtung! Absolute Katastrophe! Vorsicht!!!!
Wir sind 4 Wochen durch Bali gereist und das Hotel war die absolute Katastrophe! Habe mich schon an Hotels.com bezüglich einer Erstattung gewandt. Schilderung der Situation: Angestellte schlafen am Pool und sitzen mit Handy lustlus in der Gegend rum. Anlage ist am vertrocknen (hat mit den Bildern online nichts gemeinsam!!!), Im Badezimmer sind sehr viele Ameisen und Rattenkot überall! Das Hotel ist so heruntergekommen und lieblos, dass wir nach 2 Nächten wieder ausgezogen sind trotz einer längeren Buchung. Frühstück besteht aus Brot, Butter und künstlich schmeckendem O-Saft. Und das für mehr als 40 Euro pro Nacht! Absolute Frechheit! Durch das Hotel laufen Straßenhunde und jeden Tag wird man von Kindern und älteren Leuten im HOTEL angesprochen ob man Salz vom Meer oder ähnliches kaufen möchte. Hotelangestellte spielen den ganzen Tag am Handy und hören Musik darauf anstatt sich um die Sauberkaeit der Anlage zu kümmern. Als wir früher auschecken wollten wurde uns gesagt, es ist nicht genügend Geld da um es zurückzuzahlen und der Manager wäre nicht da. Absolute Frechheit! Wir haben uns unwillkommen und unsicher gefühlt. Leider haben wir uns bei der Buchung von den mittleren Bewertungen des Hotels (wenn man es so nennen möchte - eher heruntergekommene Jugendherberge) täuschen lassen. Ich kann jedem Urlauber, der Amed besucht, nur empfhelen das Hotel zu meiden! Bislang hatten wir Glück mit unseren Unterkünftigen, aber dieses Hotel ist die ABSOLUTE KATASTROPHE

Tranquilité et plage noire
Cet hôtel est situé au bour de la municipalité que l'on nomme Amed. Ipour y arriver, assurez-vous de prendre la route qui longe la côte. Très beaux paysages et de la côte et de la mer! L'hôtel est bien. Nous avons dû exiger que l'on nous donne la chambre avec vue sur la mer.... Un peu désagréable de devoir s'obstiner! Les chambres ssont grandes et propres. Sur le site, il y a deux piscines et un endroit repos fort bien aménagé. La nourriture du restaurant est cependant peu reccommandable. Allez ailleurs pour manger. Le personnel est sympatique, mais parfois un peu trop... Cet hôtel offre depuis la plage une vue imprenable sur le volcan Agung. À cet endroit, nous avons marché sur la plage, fait susnorkling et le clou et d'être allé à la pêche aux petites heures du matin sur un bateau traditionnel. Quel lever du soleil!

belle vue mais peut mieux faire
Hôtel uyah avec une très belle vue sur la mer. Plage a proximité. Hôtel calme en tout cas les bungalows près de la mer. Pas de pression dans la douche, pas d'eau chaude soi disant chauffee par énergie solaire. Buffet très light au petit déjeuner. Personnel féminin très accueillant, ce n est pas le cas de hommes qu on a parfois l impression de déranger. Pas de wifi, il faut se trouver au bar pour capter.

Fantastic
Had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel - sadly we could only spend one night as we had to travel further. Placed in a quiet area of Amed; nice and helpful staff; we stayed in the family villa - 3 grown-up's and 2 big children and had space enough for all of us. Gorgeous view from the bungalow - to the beach and Gunung Agung, the big vulcano. A great pool, and good food in their restaurant. Would love to stay there again.

Lovely and comfortable
Great hotel, well located in Uluwatu. Lovely helpful staff. Super clean. Very comfortable and nice pool too right outside our room. Only problem was the smell from the drain in the bathroom which I think other travellers have mentioned. We asked them to put some disinfectant into it which I believe would have solved the problem. Nothing happened. Fix this and the place would be faultless.
