"I don't like to put negative reviews, but please DO NOT go to this homestay. The description misrepresents the services and experience offered. When we came in, it seemed like the staff was not expecting us, as they had us wait outside for a while before we had to ask to be taken to our room. Also, the posting said the people at the homestay spoke Hindi and English, but it turned out that they only spoke Kannada and Hindi. Thankfully, I spoke Hindi so I was able to manage. "First appearances fueled hope. it was soon dispelled by reality of lack of service or faculties. For food, I needed to walk a kilometre. No tea or coffee in room. No face towel besides one for bath. No toilet paper. I was greeted with ‘you are the luckiest person to have this room at less than half of what others are paying for it.’ Their attitude seemed to say, I was lucky to hope to get six hours of sleep at their place for only Rs. 3000.
