"To improve: Considering that Alps is visited by people from around the globe it would be great to have the information in English too as not everyone will speak French. Someone to be at the reception to offer support throughout the stay. No bin bags. Also we were expected to clean the room which we did, but the cloth to wash the floors could not be any more disgusting. And some additional charges we were informed of on the day of check in and check out, such as the deposit or tax. Light the fire in this beautiful fireplace in the restaurant! The location can be misleading, at least it was for us, as it says 13km from Lousanne, but the hostel is not in Lousanne but in Evian, whch is the other side of the lake and if you are intending to visit Lousanne, then you will need to add about 80min onto your trip.
