"We stayed in a sea view room and, unfortunately, the hotel didn’t live up to expectations. The biggest issue was that it felt very tired and in need of refurbishment. The room and hotel overall felt quite run down, especially considering the price. Sleep wasn’t great either. The walls and corridors seem to carry a lot of noise, so you hear doors constantly closing throughout the hotel. "Bit of an issue getting into the property as we arrived quite late but thought the pub would still be open. Sorted out quickly without a problem though. Room was really good, comfortable, clean with all we needed for a good night's sleep. Owner seems to have considered what was required really well. Breakfast was excellent & catered for all tastes. "Enjoyed an absolutely wonderful 4 nights here. The hosts were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Everywhere was clean and tidy, and the room itself was amazing. The hotel is perfectly situated on West Cliff, near to a bus stop and also close to the West Cliff lift should you not feel like walking up from the beach! There's also a handy Nisa local just round the corner, and a pub with good food (The Hop Inn). Highly recommended A++++"

"A lovely old grade 2 listed house. Excellent location for Poole Quay and harbour. Parking in visitor’s public car park just across the road. Overnight parking is very reasonable. David was a fabulous host with plenty of stories to tell and the house is full of interesting “stuff” that he has collected. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. "Fabulous modern Miami themed hotel the beds are super comfortable and Aircon which is very much needed this weekend. The staff was so friendly and helpful proper service with a smile and all very engaging. Fabulous view of the sea and a gorgeous pool. My only criticism was filling the kettle in the modern sink difficult !"
