"I had a great stay at this hotel for the night. Very clean, comfortable beds. Clean shower. Could connect to the TV to watch the likes of YouTube or watch normal channels. Room service, although I didn't use this. A lovely restaurant with lovely food..and the staff were fantastic. Even checked me in an hour early. Thank you so much for a lovely stay and I highly recommend booking."

"Despite being very close to the M4, the room we stayed in was quiet, comfortable and clean. Well maintained public rooms as well. All the staff from check in, bar staff, waiting staff and the maids were very pleasant, helpful and considerate. Nothing was too much trouble. Good value for money & as much breakfast as you need. "The public areas show off the heritage of this very old house to great effect. We loved the breakfast - both staff & food were outstanding. The extensive grounds contain the Golf courses, but even with magnificent trees and the lake, there is no escape from Golf. The only significant disappointment was Wifi coverage in the Mathern annexe. I spent far too much quality time back & forth to reception to no avail. Management seem to be addressing the issue, so fingers crossed for future...

"Super impressed with this hotel! Wasn’t expecting much given its location but it’s been beautifully designed and feels like a mini resort with spa, bar and lovely restaurant with an outside area. The only downside was the charge to use the pool which was not pointed out until after booking."

"This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...

"We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms."

"For a budget hotel (although I did stay in a Premium room) the room was really quiet and the bed was large. I slept really well. Lovely shower, fun design details - painting, large lamp, coffee machine. The room felt spacious. I’d stay again."

"The room was exceptionally clean as was the bathroom. There was constant hot water in the shower. The bed was comfortable, although I did find the pillows a bit unforgiving. The soundproofing was excellent, which ensured a good night’s sleep."
