"Absolutely brilliant hotel and I love staying here. I stay here quite a lot and the reception, kitchen and maids are the loveliest and most professional people in the hotel industry. Couldn’t say enough nice things about this place. Rooms are lovely, beds are comfy and breakfast is class!. Only thing I would say is that the A/C doesn’t really work too well and takes a while for the room to cool down, so it is a little warm in the room for my liking, but that is it. "We stopped at TY Newport Hotel to visit a show at the ICC Wales venue half a mile away. Reception staff were polite and courteous throughout our stay. Most things were available within the room like , Hairdryer , Iron and ironing board , kettle to make normal tea and coffee ( No Green Teabags). "The room was lovely and clean plus they had put heating on which was a bonus on wet cold day. Disappointed the shower in our room would not work so had to use the bath not ideal when you like a morning shower. Very nice room not in main building but lovely Christmas wreath on door , Dyson hairdryer and room fan plus lovely selection of teas coffee and hot chocolate available.
