"Lovely gem of a pub with great food, lovely ambience and super-friendly host and staff. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and spacious and at the price point was excellent value for money. Great stop-off point just a few minutes off the motorway. At the price point it is great value. Oh, and the delicious breakfast was carefully prepared and presented. "Meikleour Arms is a unique inn on a large estate (hence "Arms," which refers to the coat of arms of the estate owner. Cozy inn, delicious meals (venison from the estate, for instance), lots of personality.
