"The property was in a great location to walk around the historic area, and only an 15 min walk from the main train station. The staff were so helpful. The room was well designed, considering it was on the smaller side and the bed was very comfortable. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast options, and warm service. As folks from the US, we are newer to the type of shower with a handheld sprayer, and loved the AC option, but wished it would stay on continuously through the night....

"STAY AWAY FROM THUS PLACE! I stayed in Apartment 5-2-Birds Nest at the Golden Roof Apartments by Penz, which are owned and managed by Stage 12 Hotel. The biggest issue was that the apartment was extremely hot, even though it was raining outside and the temperature was only about 18°C. We opened all the windows and used the two fans provided, but the apartment never cooled down. "Loved the location and how convenient it was to the city center. It was hard to find it first because I wasn’t aware there wasn’t a street front address. I finally found the info that suggested which parking deck to park in."

I asked them a number of questions regarding hikes, bike rentals and public transportation, and they were thorough and pleased to help. "The ac was in a small room as you enter but cut off from the large room with the beds for my family and I so it was very warm in this heatwave. Beds were nice. Ac worked well if we had been able to keep the door open to our side. The person sleeping in the entrance slept very well. Great location for walking to the old center area. Id go again but not in sweltering heat"
