Regarding reviews about location, most travelers know Belize City is a jumping off point to get to the islands, one nights stay is sometimes required for connecting flights and water taxi. "Nice rooms and staff. Great restaurant near by and walking path along the water. And easy walk to the big nice museum. Nice patio to enjoy the birds and ocean breeze. Big hotel across the street under construction but noise is over by 6 pm. Our 4th time staying here and we will be back the next time we visit Belize."

"We were diverted here for 1 night when the Roatan airport closed due to heavy rain. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's bare bones room, no coffee maker or safe, no elevator. We just needed a place not far from the airport for a quick one night stay. "

"We had to book very last minute after American Airlines messed up our flight back, and they were very accommodating on short notice. It was a great location and distance from the airport. Only stayed one night - the dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Some of the facilities are showing their age, but it worked great for what we needed"
