"This is a great place to stay, however, if you’re in the adjoining rooms and you have noisy neighbors ….it echoes back into the other room if you’re not in a hallway room. The management was excellent on having a loud child next-door quiet down , even though it was due to the combined entry point. Loved the beds and the view was excellent. Rooftop bar was really nice and pleasant. They had cookies in the evening, which were really good and they always had to grab breakfast of croissant or stone...

"Not as expected. The room was basically like a days inn with some added pine trim. If you’re not in the main building or have a balcony off the back, you’re better off staying somewhere cheaper. Nothing special and not as nice as the pictures suggested. The window was dirty, facing the highway, and you could hear the people above our room walking across the floor. The beach was tiny. It was barely as wide as the handful of beach chairs. Would not suggest for the price and would not go back."

"First, most personnel … outstanding. Breakfast was okay. Just okay. But it was not the right resort for us. We were certainly unaware that we had to let the front desk know we wanted our room cleaned. As frequent travelers, this was a first. (A backward first. Our experience has been to hang the well-known DO NOT DISTURB on the door handle.) So what happened when we asked Alicia at the front desk to make sure our room needed cleaning? Nothing. She wrote it down, so we made the erroneous...

"Check in was easy, room was clean. Comfortable bed. Small fridge which was a plus. But the AC unit was loud. For breakfast, go earlier. Not many choices. One day omelet was very salty, it was impossible to eat. We didn't use pool or gym, but they both looked clean."

"I love that the hotel is right on the water and you can walk out to the beach and have chairs or loungers available. Bring your own towels though, they do not provide them for you. It also helped that you could rent kayaks or jet skis right there too. They had a nice variety of options you can choose from for breakfast and it is delivered to your room. We didn't go to the pool but we saw it when we checked in, it seemed just fine. The sunsets were just amazing!"

"Clean bedroom and facilities. Nice breakfast including biscuits and gravy! Welcoming staff. The pool area had some maintenance work going on but pool and hot tub were open. We liked the side deck and fireplace where you can see the sunset from. Better than expected for the price!"

"The beach view was beautiful from the balcony. The bed was comfortable. The hot tub worked and was comfortable. The breakfast bar was substantial. In our room floors were dirty and there were piles of dirt in the corners. Doors and floor boards needed to be touched up with paint. Could not see to put on makeup or shave in the bathroom because of poor lighting. Walls and floor in toilet room were dirty. Rooms were not soundproof!"

"I loved the price for the week. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is only a short walk to the beach. We road our bikes downtown traverse city and it was only 30 minutes. Located 30 to 45 mins to sandunes and torchlake. Overall great experience. Great fishing spots in walking distance."

"Seemed kind of run down but we had no other options. Spend the extra $ and at least go to Hampton inn, if beach is t that important. Very hard beds, no extra pillows for the hard bed"
