"The Royal Kona sits RIGHT on the ocean front atop lava rocks. It is a very old property that could use a facelift but it was clean and very open with nice breezes blowing through. We had a corner ocean front room that offered two patio sliders to a huge private deck.
The room was very large, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a desk/dresser piece of furniture but there was no chair to sit at the desk, and there was no side table or coffee table of any kind by the couch. ...

As someone who has allergies one of the reasons I booked our accommodations at this unforgettable bread and breakfast was the hypoallergenic bedding and hardwood floors. "Excellent location. Room was different than expected with pictures shown. They are a mix of rooms. Once I figured out some things, all was amazing. Quiet. Safe. Comfortable.Great location for exploring the island. Walkable small beaches. Received a lot of different emails about the property and checking in. It made it confusing but figured it out.
Its kind of like staying in a friend's guest room. Never really saw anyone."

"It is really very close to the beach, you can even walk it.i also love the place itself. very quiet. The only thing really is the air con is very loud that you can’t sleep! That is the tie breaker.
