"All the staff & houskeeping were very friendly & accommodating, upgraded our cottage with out asking, taught me about the grounds, beautiful succulant plants, the Eagle that comes to their Eucalyptus trees & about the Monarch Butterflies they save their eggs inside until they hatch & have released over 4000. "The staff was very nice and at first we thought the room was up to par for our taste. Upon waking the next day we found dirty underwear in the bathroom and left over beer cans on and behind the dresser. We had a talk with staff and they apologized with a bottle of Champagne."

"The location was great; only a couple blocks from the boardwalk. The staff was nice and accommodating, but the room was less than mediocre. The bathroom counter and floor were dirty. When I dropped the towel on the floor and picked it up, it was dirty, as if it hadn’t been swept and mopped for a long time. The room floor felt very dirty, and in one spot, it smelled like urine. I wore socks when I stepped on the floor. Great location but the room was nasty."
