"We are doing Rte 66, so a retro motel sounded like fun. This place went above fun and brought it up to relaxing and comfortable. Nice courtyard with fountain, seating, outdoor dining and a seasonal pool. The thought and planning than went into the renovation shows as bright as the neon light of its namesake. "Excellent location - within walking distance to Old Town. The room(s) were huge and very nice. Staff was great! My only suggestion is to have better coffee in the morning. What was available was very weak."

"While the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, the unit and the surroundings are showing their age. It was perfect for our one-night stay, and served our purposes perfectly. The courtyard was very serene for sitting with coffee or an evening cocktail...or just reading a favorite book. (We were allowed to store our transportation in a safe location, which we deeply appreciated.)"

"The staff were very helpful when we decided to change hotels but I was shocked that the room rate jumped more than $50 a night. Then we were charged $7 a day to park in THEIR lot. When booked I saw no mention of this additional fee. When I contacted customer service they did graciously reverse the charge. The facility itself was very nice. My only complaint was financial."

"Very minimal amenities. Bathtub was very slick, almost fell. Air conditioner very noisy when running. Very few tv viewing options. In room frig was somewhat cold. Bed was comfortable though and the place was quiet. Okay stay if just needing a place to get off the road and crash for the night."

The location is excellent. There are several eating places within easy walking distance. Easy on / off I-40. Neighborhood seemed ok. No gunshots!"
