We were enjoying the buffet meals (breakfast and dinner) with lots of varieties of foods and drinks (included alcohol at dinner time only), also enjoying lounge with free drinks after dinner. "A serene, full-service onsen resort on the gorgeous Mt Aso highlands. Room was spacious, clean, modern. Room service delicious. They had communal bath and also private baths you could reserve for 30 minutes. All in all a great experience. Stayed one night only, next time 2-3 nights for sure! Can recommend!"

"My only complaint is the road to get to the container villa is so obviously made for a one way but the kurokawa onsen village decided that traffic can struggle to figure out who has the right of way and reverse in the middle of the road… very dangerous but any who.. The actual container villa was such a vibe from the moment I pulled into the parking lot. So convenient that they had signs pointing to where I needed to go to check in and instructions in both the email and the tablet used to check...
