"Unbeatable value if you're comfortable with a fully automated stay. The property is clean and in an excellent location. The rooms are a bit small, and the included breakfast is just okay. Additionally, there is no visible staff on-site, so you need to be comfortable using an automated system for self-check-in/out and luggage storage. "We warmly recommend the Bakery Château d'or hotel. We felt welcome, the room was comfortable and the food excellent."

"This is one of a handful of classy historic hotels near major rural attractions in Japan. A real old fashioned high-end style and treatment that makes you think you're in the 1930s. The location is convenient to the Nara Park where the historic attractions are located. It is not in walking distance of either train station."

"It feels like you are in the countryside…but a covered shopping street is only a five minute walk away. Spacious accommodations, excellent staff; great food, a truly wonderful place. Would return in an instant."
