"We had an excellent stay at this hotel, it was in a beautiful downtown area right next the river. Was super nice and comfortable."

"We left, we didn’t even stay. The staff was rude and I have a special needs child with me, who can not use the stairs like that. They tried to put us up on the 2nd or 3rd floor with the elevator being out of service. I’ll be calling Expedia tomorrow for a full refund. They were aweful!"

"Light switches not working. First inside door and large lamp on counter. Bathroom fan didn’t work. Pillows were lumpy. 7am noise from housekeeping woke me."

"The rooms were clean and ok if a little dated. The building is getting old and they need to update the carpeting in the halls. It is a good place for a quick overnight stay."

"We reserved and PAID for a Legacy Suite but got a 2 queen traditional room instead. The hotel blamed it on Expedia but I'm guessing they just over booked it. My wife and I were hoping for a romantic get away, which we are not able to afford much. We were both really disappointed. They didn't adjust our price because we booked through Expedia. On a positive note, the hotel was beautiful and clean. The town in of Beloit, WI is cute with a charming farmers market."

"Simply the BEST stay! Tony and Beth are the kindest hosts! The space is cozy and intimate; perfect for special occasions. My husband and I have had the privilege of staying here 3 times, and this will always be one of our favorite spots for a getaway! We highly recommend this gem! "

"Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was typical, Parking was very crowded. The building itself is showing signs of wear and tear, but was ok,, but an elevator is definitely needed for older folks. The stairs are steep and can wear you out quickly."
