"This is my second review of this place because we actually stayed here twice. We took a short trip to Milos and asked the staff to hold our bags so we didn't have to carry much. Not only were they accommodating, but they put our luggage in the new room when we returned. Can't recommend this place enough!!!"

"Good experience, clean and comfortable apartment. The check took 20-30 min longer as expected. This was due to the busy schedule of the caretaker. Communication was easy, and replies were fast and adequate. Location is great; I loved the little balcony allowing me to sit outside; the temperature in Athens was very agreeable! 10 min walk to conference center/Metro. Many coffee shops and places to relax as well as stores for shopping. Would stay here again"

"The room was spacious and fairly clean. The bed was comfortable and Manuel at reception was warm and always ready to assist. Checkout took a little longer than anticipated as there is a regulation regarding cash payment. A small shop just outside the hotel, provided any necessities required. I would definitely stay again, particularly due to its proximity to the convention center. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Modernist. The hotel is in a quiet and lovely part of Athens, though very quick and easy to visit the main attractions from here. Breakfast was fabulous and staff all friendly and helpful. Kolonaki has many great non-touristy restaurants too. Would highly recommend. "
