"This is a very nice, quaint little motel in a travel town. I stayed a night for a fishing trip and really enjoy the property. It has been remodeled and fully updated. I would say that it is nicer than expected and better than the other accommodations in the area."

"My family has been staying at this hotel for decades, formerly known as The Crest. We stayed because it was a little hidden gem outside of town and it was cheap. After having been letdown by The Crest, twice within the last year and a half, we were a little leery of staying here again. We are so glad we gave it a shot. Now known as The Herondale. "I only stayed one night and overall it was OK, but wow a little TLC in the room would make a HUGE difference. As an avid home-maintenance person, I was shocked at the lack of basic care in the room I had. Sorry but I notice these things. You get what you pay for, and although the room served the purpose, I have a hard time recommending to others."
